Sustainability Planning

What is Sustainability?
Sustainability is based on a simple principle: Everything that we need for our survival and well-being depends, directly or indirectly, on our natural environment. To be sustainable is to create and maintain the conditions under which humans and nature can coexist in the present and into the future. Through sustainability planning we seek to reduce negative impacts on the environment and ensure continued availability of necessary water and resources.

Sustainability Planning
A healthy landscape is a diverse, balanced ecosystem. A well-established sustainability plan takes into consideration plant selection, irrigation needs, sun exposure, soil fertility and wild life habitat. During sustainability planning, proper pruning techniques and plant health care programs should be considered to help maintain the overall health.
